BBQ Cocktail Meatballs

Ingredients

    Meatballs
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Sauce
  • 1 cup ketchip
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all the meatball ingredients (not the ingredients for the sauce just yet).
  3. Using your hands, thoroughly mix the ingredients and shape into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. On a baking sheet, bake meatballs for 20 minutes.
  5. After baking, add meatballs to slow cooker.
  6. In a medium bowl, mix ingredients for the sauce and pour over meatballs.
  7. Cover, and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
